At St. Ignatius Catholic School, we recognize and appreciate a child’s God-given natural desire to learn. In our Early Childhood Education program, we desire to nurture a love of learning by cultivating their growing sense of wonder and the habits that will lead to a lifetime of wonder.
Within our classrooms, children explore an environment ripe for learning with high-quality story books, music, and so much more. Children are taught to experience the world with a sense of awe, wonderment, and stewardship for God’s creation and abundant blessings. When placed in this atmosphere of warmth, affection, and respect, our nurturing 3K and 4K teachers provide ample opportunities for young children to learn, explore, and socialize with one another in a manner that instills respect for all of our neighbors.
At St. Ignatius, we view this precious time with our youngest learners not only as a beautiful stage of preparation for what is to come and a lifetime of learning and growth in virtue, but also with a sense of great appreciation for the gift of joy and curiosity that they embody as dearly beloved children of God.
