Middle School

The middle school years, also known as the logic stage, emphasize logic and reason. Students organize facts learned in the grammar stage to begin to help address the question of “Why?” They are taught how to think critically, how to reason, and how to learn! Since they are naturally inquisitive at this age, they begin the study of formal logic in grade 7 to aid in guiding this disposition.

In addition to core subject areas, continued Latin, Spanish, and specials (art, music, and physical education) classes, students can also take choir, band, or both during these years.
