Athletics

St. Ignatius Catholic School is proud to offer exceptional athletic programs for Grades 5-12.

At St. Ignatius, we believe that the maturation and development of our students is further enhanced and cultivated by encouraging their talents in athletics and other co-curricular activities. Through participating in athletics, students further develop in character and virtue, including sportsmanship, teamwork, self-discipline, perseverance, physical fitness, and personal responsibility, while also having fun and enjoying healthy competition on the court, in the field, or on the course.

CYO BASKETBALL

Holy Cross CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) basketball is open to all high school students in the area, both boys and girls. Teams play against other CYO teams from the Valley from December through February and conclude the season with a tournament to crown champions in each division: Boys Freshman/Sophomore, Boys Junior/Senior, and Girls. Players are encouraged to form teams or will be placed on a team. Each team must have at least two coaches/responsible adults at practice sessions held in the St. Ignatius gym.
