Dr. Anne Tretinyak
Dr. Anne Tretinyak joins St. Ignatius Chesterton Academy as a Debate teacher. She is an accomplished attorney and legal professor having received her undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas and her Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law. Dr. Tretinyak clerked at the Hennepin County attorney’s office and was later an associate at Sweeney, Borer & Sweeney in St. Paul, Minnesota. She then spent three years as a staff attorney for the, then, Family Violence Network representing battered women. From 2001 to 2013, she returned to William Mitchell to teach a wide array of legal courses. Dr. Tretinyak remains on the bar in both Minnesota and Wisconsin and lives in Appleton where she served seven years on the association board for Classical Charter School.
