An Appleton native, Emily uses her educational background to write, develop curriculum, and teach pro-life advocates how to change minds, save lives and promote a culture of life in their communities. She frequently presents lectures on college campuses, in high schools, and for churches and conferences. She regularly appears in interviews and radio/TV/podcasts, including on BBC Newsday, EWTN, Focus on the Family, Relevant Radio, and Christianity Today. As the former Co-President of Oles for Life at St. Olaf College, she worked to transform campus culture using ERI’s apologetics to foster respectful and productive dialogues about abortion.
Joyfully witnessing and living out a culture of life is integrated into the St. Ignatius Catholic School culture and mission. Such talks and presentations complement the authentically Catholic and integrated curriculum at St. Ignatius. As the only Catholic classical school in the Fox Valley, St. Ignatius provides a Catholic classical education to more than 280 students in grades 3K-12. Through classical education, students develop as thinkers, leaders, and disciples, enabling them to engage in respectful dialogue by thinking clearly, reasoning honestly, and arguing persuasively; ERI seeks to equip individuals to do the same surrounding life issues and topics.
