We will be finishing our book, “Cricket in Times Square”.  Our quiz and test on the book will be the week of Oct 25th.  We will be writing our final draft for IEW (Institute for Excellence in Writing) this week.  We will also be working on adjectives in Grammar

Our spelling unit is working with the vowel pairs ee and ea.

We will be reviewing the United States geography, the Plain states.  . We will start reviewing the Middle East.  The second quiz will be Wednesday.  The test might be on Friday for all of the Middle East.  We will be learning about Wisconsin’s early explorers.

 

MATH

We will be starting to capacity.

 

 

Religion

We will be going to Adoration on Monday. We will be learning about Jacob (Israel) and Esau.  Our saint this week is Saint Matthew.

We will be starting our next unit on animal classification.  We will be working on a group project for this chapter.

We will be reviewing the United States geography, starting with the Great Lakes states.  . We will also learn a little about the Middle East, especially Iran and Iraq.  We will be learning about Wisconsin’s Native Americans.

 

MATH

We will be reviewing length, the metric and the standard. We have our test planned for Friday.  That will be the earliest that it is.

 

 

Religion

We will be going to Adoration on Monday. We will be learning about Noah.  Our saint this week is Saint Henry II.

We will be reviewing length, the metric and the standard. We have been adding and subtracting different lengths. We will be having our test the week of Sept. 20th.

We will be reviewing length, which they were working on at the end of last year.  We will start reviewing the metric and then the standard. We will be starting timed tests for multiplication, so start practicing those facts. 

 

 

Religion

We will be learning about the stories of creation.  We will be using our Bibles.  Adoration is on Mondays.
